Facebook Messenger Can Group Payment, Here’s How

Now Pay to every Facebook friend through Messenger app. Facebook introduced person-to-person payments to Messenger in early 2015, but today the company announced that the facility is developing into support groups as well as support groups.

The group payment feature essentially works together in group chats just like private ones, but now allows users to make payments to each of the group or individual members through clicking the payment mark (dollar sign).

The payment icon can be selected after the first click on the plus sign on the bottom left of the group conversation.

This is another place with less-used features such as games, location sharing, more stored requests, a new scroll user interface that came with its first Facebook Messenger assistant earlier this month.

Here you can also use business chat apps

Facebook shows new features to be useful for groups where every purchase is for people, such as group gifts, or paying restaurant bills.

This is an area where people still switch to standalone payment service like PayPal, Venmo or Square Cash.

In addition to sending payments to other groups members, you can request a payment from the right group in your chats.

To do enter the amount you want to request person or the total amount to be shared evenly through the group, whether you include yourself in the calculation or not, Facebook says.

You can  add  also a note about what the money is for (Ex: "pizza party") and press  to "Request"  and  send it to the group conversation.

A message will appear in the chat group to reject whoever paid. Its details are also available by viewing the request details on full screen.

The service is free to use Facebook and does not require a password.

Payment is a business area of Facebook, which has not been focused on much over the years, although the ability to collect data for social networks and store payments for a large user base, information that is then used in other areas of Facebook Can be done, such as sports or e-commerce, for example.
But Facebook has been hesitant to fully recognize its ambition with Payments, which it has said in the past with the Messenger Payments launch, that it "does not manufacture business payments". Rather, the goal is simply to make the messenger more useful, and therefore, shown to be more competitive with rivals.

This continues today as Facebook is not taking payment group snippets.

However, payment is so important feature of today's messaging app. Competitive Facebook Messenger such as Snapchat and China WeChat already support in-app payments, and Kik broadened its intention to add payment to its own app in this month.

This move to add a payment group for Messenger also exists when Facebook was rumored to introduce digital business payments in another messaging application, WhatsApp.
